CCHF | Professional Development Program (PDP)

The CCHF aims to enrich and enhance the training and skillset of its members through a series of professional development programming. We beleive that there are many attributes that contribute to a successful career for a scientifically trained student.

The community and training environment cultivated within the CCHF is unusual, providing an exceptional forum for participants to work in teams and collaborate and communicate across disciplines. Programs under the PDP umbrella encourage students and postdocs to make the most of this community. The Graduate Research Excahnge provides support for researchers to immerse themselve in a new lab and learn new techniques. The Preparing Future Innovators exposes students to the processes and challenges facing innovators, both in terms of bringing a discovery to market and the trends and ideas within their community.

The Center offers a frequent program of virtual workshops and sessions across a broad range of professional development topics, from increased self-awareness to resume bootcamps. We also take advantage of annual meetings to offer in person training meetings.
