The Musaev group have been probing the mechanistic details of the Pd-catalyzed C–H Functionalization and this review provides some of the highlights of their recent findings.
This overview explores some of the key features and questions involved in Pd-catalyzed C–H Functionalization, including the nature of the active species, the role of the amino-acid ligands around the Pd and the role and crucial nature of the base employed.
