As part of the Emory Summer Science Academy Program the CCHF guided a number of high-school students from across many schools in Atlanta and Georgia. Overall there were four separate tour dates and they were able to visit the Davies lab and talk to the researchers about their experiences and science.
A different graduate student was responsible for leading the tour on each occasion and the high-school students had the opportunity to observe the various pieces of equipment being used and question the students working.
