Science Cafés are events that take place in casual settings such as pubs and coffeehouses, are open to everyone, and feature an engaging conversation with a scientist about a particular topic.
The CCHF has partnered with the Atlanta Science Tavern and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens to talk about the exciting chemistry we are engaged in and to impart some of the passion we have for our science.
The Center has also begun to build a "Chemistry Café" program at the Science Festivals we participate in, taking the opportunity to engage more mature and informed audiences as well as younger and aspiring scientists.
